The
following is the cover of an LP released by Columbia Records in the
country of Uruguay in South America. Although the recording featured
four of Jill's 1920's recreations from the Sometimes I'm Happy
side of her domestic LP, that is definitely not our Jill on the cover.

Two songs
by Jill were included on this compilation LP issued by Columbia Records
in Argentina in 1957:
In 1958,
Jill actually made the cover of the magazine Cantando, which
was devoted to the popular music scene in Argentina.

Although
the following is an American publication, it was contributed to us by long-time
devoted Jill Corey fan Brian Eccles, who divides his time between
the U.K. and his winter home in Wattle Grove, New South Wales, Australia.
We are deeply indebted to Mr. Eccles for helping us finally to complete
our collection of every commercial Jill Corey recording. You can
read Mr. Eccles' wonderful story on his own introduction to our Miss Corey
on our Reflections page. |
