Miss Jill Corey
 The Jill Corey Show
...
...

From the 1940's through the 1960's, many singers, Jill among them, contributed their talents to a variety of radio programs sponsored by various governmental agencies promoting civil defense, the National Guard or the sale of United States savings bonds.  In 1956, the twenty-one-year-old Jill also made a series of fifteen minute television programs for those same sponsoring agencies.  Each program was devoted to the music of single famous song writer of the day, among them Harold Arlen, Cole Porter and Hoagy Carmichael.

By choosing one of the options presented below you can view actual excerpts from some of these programs.  Those with higher speed cable or DSL internet service can see larger, higher quality video captured from the original 1956 films distributed to individual television stations around the country for broadcast.
